World Cat 270 Express Cabin is a big trailerable cruiser built to handle sea conditions that keep most monohull boats at the dock. Built on semi-displacement hulls, the focal point of the 270 EC is her well-equipped cockpit with its 300-quart insulated fish box, 27-gallon lighted livewell, gunnel rod holders, fresh/raw-water washdowns, coaming pads, and remov able tackle storage. A recessed toe rail on both sides of the cockpit gives anglers an added measure of security, and two ladderback helm chairs are mounted atop aft-facing jump seats with built-in coolers. Belowdecks, the cabin features a queen-sized berth, elec tric head, galley cabinet with sink, and storage for personal gear as well as rods. Additional features include a hardtop with rod holders and radio box, anchor windlass, folding rear bench seat, tilt steer ing, two opening cabin ports, cockpit lights, dive ladder, and a bow pulpit. The walk-through transom is equipped with a center swim platform with boarding ladder. The fit and finish of the 270 Express is impressive compared with other boats in her class. Yamaha 225 outboards deliver a top speed of about 40 knots.
