This Llaüt Astilleros Menorca 1979 is a beautiful example of the traditional Balearic Llaüt, a classic Mediterranean boat deeply rooted in the maritime culture of the Balearic Islands. Built in 1979 by Astilleros Menorca, the boat preserves the elegant and timeless proportions that characterize the original wooden llaüts used by fishermen throughout the region.

Currently based in Ibiza, the boat is painted in a striking dark blue, highlighting its graceful hull lines and traditional silhouette. Its shape evokes the classic handcrafted wooden designs that made the llaüt such an iconic vessel of the Mediterranean.

Inside, the cabin offers a 140 × 200 cm double berth, marine WC, a wardrobe with chart table, cabin lighting, voltmeter, and four USB charging ports, providing simple but comfortable accommodation for coastal cruising.

Mechanically, the boat is powered by a reliable Sole Mini 34 diesel engine, with important maintenance already completed, including new impeller, belt, heat exchanger, and a renewed shaft bushing and stuffing box system.

The hull has been painted inside and out and has received osmosis treatment, while the deck features a beautiful iroko wooden platform. The boat also includes a repaired traditional lateen sail, along with a new mast and antenna, preserving its authentic Mediterranean sailing character.

For safety and navigation, the vessel is equipped with two handheld waterproof VHF radios, solar-powered navigation lights, a radar reflector, and a 2 kg certified fire extinguisher.
